About the Principal

Cathy Eng is a Certified Advanced Resume Writer (CARW), author, and owner of Resume Rocketeer, Inc. She began her career in corporate communications crafting powerful messages for a billion-dollar insurance corporation and working extensively within human resources, marketing, and operations. Cathy utilized her years working alongside C-level executives and HR decision-makers to learn what employers are really looking for and how to stand out in today’s crowded and competitive job market.

Today, Cathy has written hundreds of interview-winning resumes, helping clients secure positions with organizations from global technology giants all the way to the U.S. Senate. She has helped clients in a wide variety of industries and professional levels to refocus and revitalize their career perspective with a fresh, new resume and online profile.

Cathy has written more than 50 articles published in magazines, newspapers, and websites on resume writing, interviewing, job searching, and personal brand management. She also holds a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
